As suggested….I’ve used garage floor paint. It’s taking forever and a day to hardened off. After 5 days….still soft. It has been cold and the tin says 7-10 days so I’ve done a last coat and will leave for a week minimum.

New shift cables that came with the boat

Remote isolators so the cable runs will be mega short ?

also installed a new Victron Bluetooth charger and VSR but forgot to take a photo. Looks cool anyway?

Just all new fuel lines and battery cabling to do and that’s ready for engines back in ?

Unfortunately not putting her afloat this year. Trying to flog her, but not sure we could give her away at the moment!

Its that Mercruiser. Bloody big millstone. They make good mooring anchors though I hear
With your live aboard gear, you'll be lucky to get a ticket on the straits ?

She hasnt lost any speed. Kwakkers will confirm.

It's not specifically my boat, the broker says it's extremely quiet for what should be a busy part of the year.
Seems ordinary folk are sitting tight watching fuel, electric prices and interest rates!

Well its not doing you any favours on the hard so you may as well float her and enjoy her. Watch, as soon as you get her comfortably mucky and untidy the punters will turn up in their droves.

A boat in the water can sell easier. In the water photos and video help a lot. TBH….I don’t think your broker is marketing her well.

Launch her and get some drone video. The chap that bought my previous one said this sold him on it.

Yes, I don't disagree.
We're fully serviced and winterised.
So with a couple lifts, fannying around and some time in the water its probably not worth it at the moment. Plus, I can't be arsed - and knowing my luck I'll tempt the defect genie out of his bottle.

We're not desperate. Like all things it'll work out and if we end up with her still in 12 months quite possibly we'll just keep hold.

Anyway, enough of my problems ?, what you broke/fixed this week? ?

Google that vid was brilliant, the way you kept your ugly gob out of it was very clever.

3 hours fitting a door catch….I kid you not! They are 3 fold affair and I took photos before stripping the hinges and hard wear ready for spraying. I didn’t however take a photo of them in situ so convincied myself I had them round the wrong way now in pieces so couldn’t decide which side the new door catch should go on!

Got it figured in the end! Photos when finished. Been wrapping fridge door and table top too. Vinyl dying upholstery soon if the spray ever turns up

Wraps have started! ??

It's the little things that can sometimes be a PITA! Particularly when you assume it's a 5min job and dismantle it in auto!

Vinyl dying, is this a first?! ?

Done it before on a rib seat and 8 years on…..still looked ace!

Im mainly doing non wear taking panels etc….from navy blue to grey. There is the red and blue strips right through the cushions/ sun pad cushions which I’ll be masking and doing the same grey. Not sure if that’ll work or bleed. The coats are super light so I think it’ll work
