I love Android headunits. You can run all the usual (Spotify, Netflix, maps, Bluetooth) but for boats……has its own GPS so that’s navionics as a backup and best of all….Victron Bluetooth charger app. I’ve got a 10.1 inch battery display?

Just for @BruceK ……2 types of wrap on one panel!

Black halo led push buttons on route in the post so nearly finished.

The little black screen is digital 240v panel. £11.59

Thought I’d show my workings out as some, who will remain nameless, accuse me of bodgery.

I’ve done a ve+ and Ve- busbars, moved the little pop out fuses into the cupboard, hence retaining their safety aspect.

There not much 240v….only sockets and immersion however….I have bought a 240v relay controlled by 12v for the immersion. I’ve tried to keep things self contained so GPS receiver and FM aerial are stuck top right of picture. I’m happy with the look. £105 all finished ?

Wired up my own 12 pin plug for headunit too. That’s a tedious job

Dont hide my shining light under a pot. Name and praise. Now before you get too sensitive and wilt like a wall flower dgragged onto the dance floor, I said Top Bodging. That's an accolade. Not like the crap-bodge you found. Anyway, it's hard for me to get enthusiastic about such an uglee boat. It's a bit gauche in the modern age and despite your valiant efforts still looks like a PFY, just in a prom suite

Have you named her yet? I was thinking, Thatcher's Brat.

Easy to say over the radio too. ;)
He always calls his boats the same , I have heard I’m on the radio , he starts this is BOAT ON THE HARD over. He also has a CB so he can talk to other trailers ,

Love a Facor

As suggested….I’ve used garage floor paint. It’s taking forever and a day to hardened off. After 5 days….still soft. It has been cold and the tin says 7-10 days so I’ve done a last coat and will leave for a week minimum.

New shift cables that came with the boat

Remote isolators so the cable runs will be mega short ?

also installed a new Victron Bluetooth charger and VSR but forgot to take a photo. Looks cool anyway?

Just all new fuel lines and battery cabling to do and that’s ready for engines back in ?

Is that carpet on the bulkhead that the facor is mounted to?

Mr G….a bit of advice…you are doing such a great job…keep this boat!!!!
I might do for a good while. Not sure I’ll have time to do another one over the next few years. This is my favourite looking boat of my previous 4 and is a good size for day boating…….and will be very rapid without the petrol costs ?????

you say this everytime. We dont believe you like the water. However, as you declare to be quicker and cheaper can we expect your presence in Conwy for the next raid once done?

Funny thing is I recall many times having to slow down to accommodate. Especially in anything more than a wee 4 foot chop  Be nice to have you keep up at least :p
