dont forget to put vaseline on conections , if you are not saving it for something else.
I vaguely remember ppl being against that as vaseline will affect some hoses, not sure if that was for plain rubber or silicone, I think the latter!dont forget to put vaseline on conections , if you are not saving it for something else.

first degrease and vacuum out. Couple of more goes should do it.
I need to secure a float switch….I know….I’ll put a bit of ferrous metal in the bilge and cable tie it. That’ll do??? I’ll also just use crimp connectors and leave them lying in the bilge. I also won’t crimp them properly so them come apart. 12v and bilge water go well together?

Not more NHS gloves.
Bought it from Volvo. He’s got the old one still if you want to get it rebuilt (if yours is too far gone)
I’ll give you his number ?You cant rebuild them. One of mine the main bearing is leaking so on the way out. If his has a good main bearing and it's something else that has gone I am happy to buy the shell off him.
Getting a dark grey cover. You would have to change the covers, but personally I don’t like grey arch try black
I will be used ???I'm surprised you didnt advocate carbon fibre vinyl wrap
