I am in the fortunate position of having a new RM 1050 on order, delivery next May. I would like to seek views on this forum regarding fitting out, starting at the bottom (propellors) and eventually working up to the highest point! (Windex etc). So, this weeks question, I am inclined to go for a Kiwiprop. What does the forum think?

I thought that was George. I sent you a PM. You should see a flashing symbol in the dark blue line above Help.

Need to make the decision on the same item as well: in my list are max-prop, kiwi prop and gori folding. Have max-prop at the moment and it is fantastic, but very expensive, so on a smaller boat considering a cheaper alternative.

Kiwis have been recommended to death on these pages. Just search back a year or so! I, for one, am an enthusiast of these props

Thanks for the advice. Now i am a registered user I have used the search facility and checked out the threads on the Kiwiprops. Reckon i will go for one. The threads also sorted out my next question re rope cutters. So, the next matter for this distinguished forum (!) is hull colour. I favour a dark blue, but am concerned re UV damage (fading) and marking from berthing cock ups! I know colour is always a personal choice, but what views do you all have?

Need to differentiate dark blue gelcoat from dark blue paint. I think paint lasts a lot better with darker colours. My black car is 9 years old and certainly shows no sign of fading.....

....that's why I'm going for the dark blue I've always wanted
