Been round there a few times. The current is unreal!

I did 25 knots through the Sound once against tide…I was convinced I’d come to a stop?

Been like that in the Pentland Firth on an Offshore 105, I was making 23knt on the log and the GPS was saying I was doing 7knt ground speed and one of the Skerries was getting larger and larger off my starboard beam :oops:
It was only 30 minutes before slack water too!

Watching the buoys popping up to the surface all around us as the tide slackened off.

shouldnt you use fender socks on your newly painted hull?

looks really good! well done, well worth the effort!

ive got other fenders but my pulse was around 180 bpm after launching. I’ll sort when I’m calmer

Youll never mark that paint job with fenders……never! ???
