New boat!

Not bad, Mr g.
But then, you'd expect me to say so ?
Is the perspex tinted not a stick on film, right?
Not sure I d like a trim tbh
Stick on film. It was clear to begin and went right up to the t top. I just cut it down and tinted it.

@LBRodders have it in the water 3 months of the year then out the rest. I can launch and recover on my own but will need to do so the day before I plan to use it. It’s a big tub to drag about . Use will be on my own or friends….only friends willing to bring petrol cans along ?

Not far off what we do, 3-4 months a year is about right. It's bloody awful in winter.
You'll get a routine with the petrol. We do. I doubt you'll burn what you think. Take 20l every time you pop down and keep on top of it. ??

Cheers Rodders. Going to spend a morning fuelling next week. 10 trips will load on 400 litres ?

What do you think the trim will add to the looks? I’d be very happy leaving it the way it is. Looks good to me. Presumably you’ve smoothed down the rough edges?

I have but there’s a little bit of jigsaw wiggle up close. Tricky as the window tint is on so have to be a bit careful. I’m tempted to do it all from scratch again but that will be a winter job when I’m bored. I’d probably move the screens inside the frame so make it more OEM too

Trim it is then!

It's looking great now but if you welded some small mounting lugs on the inside of the tube (not back) and followed the bottom tube shape with the Perspex so it was all "framed" it would look fantastic. (This could be what you are on about as opposed to mounting it inside/on the back of the frame) I'm guessing she's not far off finished for now, what's left to do? What will you use all the spare tank space for or will it just be storage? Is the plotter/screens installation finished?(y)

that was my plan re the windows. Mount them on brackets like this sort of thing

Not much left. Fuel system service and dose up, fix a few trailer bunk brackets (thought I had them on route for the states but Amazon now say not in stock?), clean and polish the inside, waiting for new seating to come back from upholsterer, final hull polish, few decals….all done! Not bad in under 3 months

front tank….thinking of fitting brackets for front seating, table and leg storage. I’ll still have room for fenders in there too!

Nav all done and working well. Engine data via Bluetooth is ace!

one pass with a da….wool head and the P1-06. Amazing stuff ???

Went for an arty shot. Would have been good if I’d remembered to move the power extension reel out of shot….typical ?‍♂️

Big hull polish up by a pro this Sunday. Finished photos to follow!

Looking very good indeed. I'll be pottering around Anglesey for the next two weeks getting wet and working on the tan. Bring her down, we can baptise her accordingly and toast Neptune. Bring booze and nubile dancing girls. Neptune is fussy about doing it right. (y) ?

Hull decals done…. quite pleased with the font choice. Wasn’t sure what to do with the line at the stern but picking up the downsloping line of the hull works I think.

I not normally a chrome fan but thought I’d try plastic chrome trim. Worth a punt at £7 for 6 metres. Looks pretty good and finishes it off nicely
