new boat search

the search for another boat continues! I'm now looking at a Neptune classic, when I first saw one, I thought it was a Corvette. any comments any-one? Sea-keeping, scary experiences etc etc?
ps, any-one want to buy a Birchwood Challenger 320 ?

Nope, it'll be either 34 or 36ft

Driven both of them too, neither in particularly trying conditions, but they handled pretty well. Solid construction, and any of the silly faults will have been put right by previous owners. Can't remember what engines they wre offered with, but the larger option was definitely the ones to go with in the 36. 34s were single as I recall?

Nope, the two we've been looking at have had two 130hp Cummins engines installed.

Am constructing a scale model of one right now. Won't be finished for 6+ months and will be approx 1mtr long. Grp hull and teak decks are planned. Bet mine will be cheaper to run and maintain than yours. Good luck if you proceed with it and would love to have a look round some time to plan the interior properly.
