You get the feeling if virus continue to slow down that some restrictions will be lifted in May , talk of that type is also talked about in the Italian press .
If movement is lefted within the country we are in that's would be some thing , at less then we could sail in said countries.

They are being counted within the Covid daily hospital figures if the person who died had Covid or suspected Covid died. But the remarkable thing in my local hospital is that the number of strokes and heart attacks has dropped enormously. Some may have Covid instead (125 Covid deaths in my hospital alone) but the vast majority just aren’t turning up in ambulances with strokes and heart attacks. If this is a national pattern then it will be the subject of academic papers for many years. Can people choose not to have them if they are afraid if going into hospital? Have they always been triggered by something infectious that we never considered? Is socialising stressful?

Just been talking to s-i-l, public transport and intercity trains running much as usual except for Easter restrictions on travel. Evidently the stop and checks using police and army are country wide.

@Iron Maiden can I ask how you are getting on regarding a reply from the Portuguese as a reference to others looking at drive back to their boats .
We have one friend who if he thought he could drive back legally he would althought I think he mad and should say put, but then that's just my option .
He seen to have had a different respond to his enquiry from the UK Gov
Maybe you could be kind enough to post the reply, it maybe of some use to others who are thinking of doing the same .

Iron Maiden - do you have Portuguese residency or documented proof that your boat is your main residence. If so, you should be OK transiting France and Spain, according to Gov.uk.
The proof is needed to show to anyone who asks - police. borders, cstoms, any old official.

Unfortunately I am not the knob head , people all over the world are dead , because of selfish people like you and the few idiots that agree with you. harsh but true. ...And yes it's possible to get independent accommodation for people in your predicament , you, however think it all about yourself not people you could possibly contaminated on your adventure.

I received thih two weeks ago from Christiane .She was Austrian ,but live on one of the Canneries for a long time
Beautiful bob,! Thank you for askIng me if you could do something for me. I don't think so. I am in hospital and getting treatment against the cancer. My bones nearly breaking.
