Ah But
With your reasoning they will be buying two bars (one each) the question ony mentions a bar meaning one. I think we will have to wait for the answer from Sir/Miss /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
In the mean time perhaps you can answer this question?
My three elderly sisters clubbed together and bought a radio for thirty pound i.e. £10 each.
The owner of the shop didn't tell the sales girl he had knocked £5 off the price, so he sent the girl to my sisters to give them the £5 back
But on the way the girl pocketed £2 and gave my sisters back £1 each.
Now because they had each put £10 in and recieved £1 back means they paid only £9 each
3 x £9 = £27
£27 and the two ponds the girls stole = £29 where has the other £1 gone ?
