Navico Corus Instruments

Can anyone tell me why my Corus system (Depth, Wind, Speed etc) "boots up" but only display's the initial "boot" screen.......I have 4 displays all linked and all displays show the same........it's worth noting that the instruments have not been used for about a year or so.........can the "firmware" be lost if left unpowered?
I do not have any instruction manuals anymore so help would be appreciated.

The experts on Corus are Cactus Navigation (www.cactusnav.com) - some of the ex Navico guys are there. If you go to their website you can download the dealer manual that has a basic troubleshooting section - that is better than the (inadequate) documentation provided with the system itself.

If I understand your symptoms they suggest it is a broken cable
