If PWCs are the lowest in the nautical food chain, and perhaps Kingfisher might be at the top, how would you grade the boats in between? Racing dingies, racing powerboats, tall ships, warships?

I've posted the same at my old home, so comparisons can be made.

You.....

....too shy and retiring. Hah, next you'll be saying that Ecowarrier was the voice of quiet reason.

Re: Fast/Dreamer Stinky version

Or indeed the relative demerits of a new salesperson vs broker.

Re: oh dear!

Kingfisher at the top? Are you mad? A flippin 2nd-hand 2nd-placed bogless racing dinghy that isn't even allowed into St Tropez cos it's too small? I think not! You will have to get to the med asap to see some boats (incl sailboats) a lot nicer and bigger than Kingfisher. For example, there's a nice 75 footer sailyboat.... being used as a tender aboard a proper SuperYacht called le Grand Bleu which course, has a lovely massive engine or two.

Kingfisher ?

isn't that something to do with Woolworths?

Absolutely , Brooms come above that as well..

P.S. This bogless stuff on expensive saily boats....Do they wear Absorbi-pads like Astronauts , or is that why you see them sitting with ar*** hanging out over the edge.????

.AAArrggh, now I understand. Sailing ANd sail cruising is B&Q version of the real thing.

Sorry

...my mistake tcm. I forgot to change the aspirational top when I copied across from the Other Place.

Don't know why I bothered with the O.P. In less than 30 mins there have been a dozen postings here, including the ever-reliable PaulineB. Next door, nothing. Too flippant, I guess for those serious types.

BTW when Stalin did his purges, he rewrote the poor guys out of the history books. Our Fat Controller is much more benign. After he has executed a victim, he still leaves the victim's postings in earlier threads. Steve101 and Ecowarrier can still be read about.
