What we used to do is start motoring in a tight circle....getting wider and wider...till you create a crocodile free circle of water you can then swim in

The screen on the rowing machine is may be 5 inches. Not 50. It shows heart rate, stroke rate, metres to go, time per 500m, etc etc.

Gosh, sailing the North Sea in Jan. A brave and adventurous superstar.

oh I let he Danish steam ship folk do the sailing, they did a remarkable job of it too, managed to turn off the wind for the crossing... it was smooth sailing*


*At least this trip one of our party was not having to hug the porcelain alter

The superyacht Aspen Alternative just got hooted at big time by a 40 metre boat coming through the bridge behind it. Aspen stopped straight in front of the bridge and the following 40 metres plus boat had nowhere to to go. They got VERY close to a collision…

Aspen had just reversed into his berth on the second attempt. Hope the owner isn’t on board to see the captain getting it a bit wrong….
