Just out of interest what do megayacht owners do while their yachts are being docked ?
I don’t think there’s a general answer. I know of one captain whose owner keeps saying he wants to park his boat. No chance is the captains reply (but he says it a bit more diplomatically than that. Watching some boats come in today with guests being served drinks on the lounge deck. Dunno if the owner was one of them. More likely to be charter guests.

No - it would take far too much water to try maintain any grass. We have gone for a dry planting approach. 'Planting Design for Dry Garden's' by Olivier Filippi, is an excellent guide.
Yes we don’t water the grass either as the well level drops considerably in thesummer

This is yesterday’s last dog walk of the day

Here’s a new sign that adds a little historical context to the region

Aha, that's where they go to from here, I see them on trailers at the port waiting to go on the ferry, but the ferry does not go to Lanzarote from Los Cristianos (I don't think)
If that was a few weeks ago, they may have been off to the transat start in La Gomera. 37 entries. One retired to Cape Verdes, a few arrived now in Antigua.
