Most expensive Marina

The lowest in Germany (Baltic and North Sea) and Northern Netherlands this summer was 8.55 Euros in Wangerooge for a 9.4m yacht. The highest was about 20 Euros (Den Helder). Most rates seemed to be about 12 Euros for a <10m yacht. Most places had free power and water, although a few charged for showers.
13.35 Euros for three days in Gouda, inc electricity/water.

We had a large 35m+ super yacht in for 5 nights last year. When the captain came into the office to pay he questioned the £2500 I was asking. His comment was that when he arrived in Italy he would expect to pay that per night ! He also said that he would expect to have the same amount in cash in an envelope to hand to the berthing master for finding him a berth. He said berthing masters in Italy have very nice houses and cars.

Lymington
Dart Haven?

We did a Cornwall to Essex Odyssey this year. Lymmington and Darthaven were both surprisingly reasonable.

Most expensive was St Katherine's Dock, right next to Tower Bridge. Early in the morning, everyone leaves their boat in suits, it is that expensive. Most overpriced-for-where-it-was was Brixham, IMHO

I paid £50 per night at Porto Cervo for a 31' boat - 22 years ago!

You can no longer anchor in porto cervo either as theyve put mooring buoys in..... Which cost 170 euros a night to use!!!:eek:l went to one particular bar there where they wanted 13 euros for a Heineken. Turns out that I wasnt that thirsty. Italy generally a rip off.

Italy is terrible. A few years ago, we were charged 200 euros for 1 night, 40 foot catamaran. Not including water and electricity.

In the Spanish enclave of Melilla, its about 7 euros a night for a 38 foot boat. All in.

Gelves, near Seville, first night free.....
