Over the moon as I've I've just been advised I've a mooring in Dartmouth....... Is there a water taxi service available and if so can you get a season ticket for it ?

Yes to the water taxi. Give Dart harbour a call as they are very helpful.

Car parking is the big problem in Dartmouth. I'm up river in Dittisham on a swinging mooring which I much prefer.

It is a reliable service but with very limited hours of service in wnter up to the end of March. There is parking at Darthaven Marina at a reasonable cost or on the raod up to the castle. There are a few spots in town but as household parking is at a premium locals may get a bit uptight at their parking spots being taken. They used to do a 20 journey card but have discomtinued that so currently it is £2 a trip inner zone and £4 outer zone.
I have just moved from a mooring as the wind funneled very strongly (over winter) where I was, what area of the river are you going to be?

How long does it take to get a mooring in Dartmouth? It sounds like you will be having a party to celebrate ? Is it tidal or full access? I had made some enquiries previously of Noss marina but what options exist otherwise? Do you have tidal issues with moorings /

Congratulations. We will be round over the summer and be in the pub at Dittisham if you want to meet up for a beer.

Bought a 29 ft boat at Kingswear in around 1975. Paid to use a fore and aft mooring for three weeks on the river. It cost more than a full year's dues for my 50ft boat to use any of the Shetland Council's harbours/piers.
