Moody Excell 34

I am looking for someone who has experience of this class of moody please to give me their view. YM did an article in Jan 2000 about this CC yacht, a limited number built by Prout yard in the late 90's early 2000. Thanks

I haven't actually sailed one but did look over one recently with a view to buying.

Personal view - makes the most of its 34', huge cockpit locker and as you might expect, well finished down below.
Huge aft cabin and have done away with the 'tunnel' that you find on the 346 connecting to the main cabin.

A lot of the deck fittings were made by Barton and would have been hapier if they were of a higher spec.

I think only about 16 were built. I've seen two for sale at £80k and £75k respectively so you have to question if you consider that vfm for what is a 2nd hand 34 footer.
