Hullo Everyone
I am hoping that somebody can help me solve an intermittent problem I have with my DGPS.
This is an MLRFX412, interfaced with Raytheon ST60 instruments and an ST6000 autohelm autopilot, all installed just over a year ago in my then new Vancouver 34.
Every so often the GPS loses its position, giving the message'Lost Fix'.
This first started to happen last July. The supplier replaced the GPS, to no avail, then all the wiring, again to no avail, and finally found a poor conection at the antenna, caused they thought by salt water ingress.
This cured the problem for about 6 months, but now it is back and this time the supplier can find no problems with the system, the wiring or the antenna.
Any suggestions on what might be the problem or how to get to the bottome of it?
