Soon be time for a lift out and anti-freeze, anodes etc, plus need to repack the stern glands. Does anyone know the size of the packing please ?

Paul you should be able to find out if you slack back one of the nuts and measure the OD if the compression sleeve and the diameter of the shaft and do a bit of mental arithmetic .
I doubt if much water will come in. If you have greasers they can help give a better deal.
