Mirror dinghy trailer

Apologies for thread drift.

I used to transport my Mirror on a roof rack, and had a folding launching trolley in the boot of the car. I would often enlist the help of an innocent bystander to give me a hand to unload it, if I was on my own.

Great little boats, you'll have some fun with it.

Apologies for thread drift but it is my thread.

My wife isn't bad. Like Chrusty, I'd be lost without mine - even if she does later turn in to her mother.

The rare tantrum today about the dinghy may have been because she has been very patient about my cabin cruiser obsession and was hoping it would pass. I appreaciate that her realising a second boat was coming may not have brought out the best in my dear Mrs.

(snip)...

Good start; what you now have to do is encourage her to realise that while this may be annoying, it could be far, far worse, say if you were disappearing with other wimmin, or a compulsive gambler, or an alcoholic . . .

Oh, you're all of those as well. :eek:

Sorry, only teasing. :D

Transporting dinghies:

Here's how it's done;

Incidentally, the Solo is on a trailer I got from a neighbour for a song after he burnt his rotten Mirror rather than repair it. It also fits the Laser which I why I still have it. The draw bar was pretty badly rusted but I got a bit of angle iron reinforcing welded to it.
