If anyone does get a visa…France is worth visiting…this is today’s afternoon dog walk

Bouba, stop telling lies. France is not worth visiting. It is not worth the cost of the visa.
Brits should just carry on heading south to places like Algeria, Congo, etc. Lots more sand and sun.

There are far too many Brits here already.

Pull up the draw bridge! Flood the tunnel!
Stop the boats!

You are right of course.....just out of interest, behind those trees on the left is a little lake full of pink flamingos....but yes...stay away everyone !

The move for relaxing the 90/180 is driven I believe by the non coastal areas, especially the Alps, where U.K. second homeowners are the economy. As in most places what happens in coastal areas has little bearing on what is really going on. As mentioned before I too doubt that majority of Brits care about 90/180. However they do care about standing in a massive queue trying to get to their first pina colada. The only good thing coming out of Brexit is listening to the whining from the same muppet that voted for Brexit as he/she cannot understand why they are standing in a huge line in the hot sun. Economically it is difficult to think of any benefit especially if you are a small business. Frankly the mess is entirely of our own making and sadly we collectively deserve the mess we have created. Unless one has helpful ancestors of course 😀

That is because you clear immigration for both countries. before you get on the train. Try a plane and you will notice the difference very quickly.

Not what I said. Read again.
Apologies....There are two threads running about the sheer hell it is to travel by air...if you add the passport queues from this thread...when crossing by road and rail is exactly the same as it always was. Just saying
