Hi, do any of you know if this outboard is a good one or not?

Also is it likely to have Neutral on it?

Thanks

There are millions of these around, yes there a good motor, it may have neutral but no reverse, I had one once, mariner mercury etc there all the same with different paint on etc, make sure there is no corrosion on the powerhead(engine) and you will be fine, if you need a 4hp I have one for sale.

It's a good model.
Don't know whether that particular eng is a good un from where I'm sat!
Won't have reversre, just reverse the whole jobby.
I like Yam and Suz too for little outboards.

Yep great o/b but don't think it has either reverse or neutral - you'll need the 3.3 if you want to start in netural ! My 3.3 is fab, no reverse still but neutral is v.useful. In summary they're really reliable and well made (now that's just cursed it......)

Bullet proof but as chris says no reverse or neautral, No problem onve yer used to it you just pull the lanyard out to stop or push the stop button. Cheap as chips to run.

THANKS to you all for the replies.

It was in an eBay auction coupled with a 2.3 metre Dinghy but I missed the bloody finish with SWMBO mythering me.

Must be fate.

buahahhahahahah. Ya know what I meant. I meant the model not that particular engine. I just didn't get my question across very well. Im gonna stop now coz im digging me a hole.

I had one of those on my folkboat as a main engine it never failed even when swamped by a following sea when needed it just started though i expect it needed time to dry??

Dident use much fule not quite one gallon of 2 stroke in 5 months

the great thing with these engines is you can lob them in a locker & not need to worry about which way up they are ( as opposed to 4 strokes)
