Which should I use?
Marine 16 Treatment or Marine 16 Diesel Fuel Complete.
I have no idea of the current fuel age or condition but I am considering filling the tanks to the max.

Agree with above. Treatment if you have the bug and complete for ongoing good fuel quality. I put in 500ml of complete every time I fill up. My tanks are 600l so completely overdosing but it doesn’t do any harm.

I used to use the 'complete' treatment and thought it had a minor improvement in smoother running.

I have changed to a different treatment which disperses any moisture in the fuel rather than causing the water to drop out.

Russ, I think most of us use the cheaper Diesel Bug Treatment which is also for preventing bug - see https://marine16.co.uk/product/diesel-bug-treatment/.

I don't think the snake oil in the "complete treatment" is necessary.

I brim my tanks and empty a whole 100ml bottle in for the winter.

PBO did a trial some years back
Outcome was
Fuel Set, best for water dispersal
Marine 16 Treatment, best for bug killing
So I now alternate each with every fill.

Marine 16 complete I suspect is a combined bug killer and water dispersal.

Have worked in pharmaceutical for sterile cleaning it is wise to rotate disinfectants as bugs do build up an immunity is same one is used continuously
