When Marina's charge, they try and take everything into account

I know that they take bowsprits into the measurement, BUT do they also include the measurement of the length of the boom hanging over the stern?

i know a well known marina that would measure ALL extremities and charge accordingly. Their argument being that you take up space with ALL overhangs etc.

A friend of mine left them when they refused to re-measure his boat after he removed the anchor hanging over bow roller. That anchor had tripped him into next charge bracket - even though for years he'd been charged at lower correct rate.
