I picked a fine w'end for hiring out a classic on the Norfolk Broads.
SWMBO is going to be right chuffed. Oh well better pack the scrabble and whisky!

Yuz, not the brightest bank hol weekend.
There's a lot of sea fog here at the moment, visibility down to less than half a NM at times, so we're not going anywhere this weekend. Darn.
Whisky and Scrabble - now theres a good idea - the more whisky you consume, the more 'interesting' the words become. Have fun!!

Yep, it's what you make it at the end of the day.
Any day away from the smoke is better than a day in it. Shame everyone else shares the same view point

Well that was truly a washout.
I've been drier beating in a F8.
Not sure of the builder of the boat but she (gaffer) was picked up in Martham if you know that area.

I'll be back to the broads one day, hopefully I'll be luckier with the weather

Martham Boatbuilders? We hired a classic (motor) cruiser there last year. They were all, afaik, designed and built by themselves. They specialise in hiring classic boats of all kinds.
One of the last independent yards, and well worth supporting. They also have berths, storage, and DIY facilities.
