Hello all,

Is anyone here a member of LYC or have any experience? I would be interested in finding out about any crewing opportunities from there. Also, would like to find out a bit about the social side as well - although I will just go down one day and "see for myself".

I use the Marina on passage to our winter 'home' at Fiddlers Ferry ( up the Mersey) I met a member who was telling me about the club and they seem a good bunch with plenty of activities.

Hi again NW, spent a few months there, get yourself down to the pontoons any Sunday at 2-3hours before HW, chat to the yachts crews. Know a bit about what you are doing and you'll probably get a 4 hour sail. Usually about 15+ boats out racing, nearly everyone I met there was spot on.
