Are you about to pack in your job, move to a different part of the UK, and do what you've always wanted to do with your life - in this case, become a UK-based liveaboard?

If so, the TV company I work for would love to hear from you.

We're looking for people to take part in a new series called Life Begins, and would be especially interested if you were planning to sell your home and become a liveaboard who intends to remain in the UK.

This would be an ideal opportunity for an enthusiast to raise the profile of liveaboards on mainstream TV, as we will be featuring 30 different stories for the series and this could easily be one of them.

The criteria are tight, so please only apply if you are employed and intend to leave your job to move to another part of the UK to start your new life.

If that's you, then you could end up as the star of an hour-long programme on Channel 4 which would also bring your new life and venture to the attention of millions.

This will be feelgood television designed to inspire viewers, so it should be fun to take part in.

If you'd like to know more or would like to take part, please contact me, Jon Massey, on 01752 333900 or e-mail me at lifebegins@twofour.co.uk

Thank you!

Jon

Dunno about anyone else, but I bought a boat to get away from "reality" TV.

BIG BOSUN here we come!

Do we really want to encourage others in? Its already tricky enough to live what is often a quite marginal lifestyle, without making it higher profile.

Pick some real dossers, Jon, such as are found up mud-creeks, that no-one in their right mind would want to emulate, or could profit from.

There's a guy called "Noah" () to be found most days squatting on the steps of the London Stock Exchange who would give you an interesting take on this. Or you might try someone from the <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.savethemoorings.org.uk/SupportersPage.htm>Downing Road Moorings in Southwark, who would undoubtedly welcome your offer.
