How do you use your battery? How often does it get to float? What kind of loads are you applying?

I tend to let it get down to about 20-30% before charging it back up to float, so maybe twice a week. Loads are the usual plus electric winches and anchor windlass, and things like a hob and microwave through the inverter.

I think the frequency of recharging makes a difference. Mine get out of synch after a week or so of not hitting float. Big loads every day from electric kettle 2kw, induction hob 2kw, electric stove 2kw, immersion heater 860w, watermaker 2kw.

Mine do the same, the BMS one gets out of sync quicker and more out of synch than the SmartShunt. Charging the batteries resets them both.
