We have a XM 6 man RORC pack life raft and it needs servicing - the list of approved servicing agents for Singapore is by manufacturer. Can any one advise who currently owns this brand? A web search threw up a number of defunct companies until I lost the trail ?

XM were taken over by Plastimo which in turn were broken up and the bulk bought by Lalizas. Still operating as Plastimo but don't have service facilities in Singapore. Suggest you try Panmarine who are the Zodiac official service centre.

Or do it yourselves. It isn't all that difficult provided you take care not to set the inflation system off by mistake. Gives you an opportunity to see just how poor the provided kit is: really is one use and chuck it. Use a couple of ratchet straps to compress the raft once refolded, it can be a bit of a struggle but doable. A mate used to stow a four person raft in a six person container to make thing easier....
