Lefkas town - spectacles repair - urgent

Hi, I'm in Sivota on Lefkas and need to get a repair done on my prescription glasses. Apparently opticians do not do this service, so I need a glasses repair service for this. I currently only have prescription sunglasses, which is fine during the day but after dark it is very difficult. I have a lift into Lefkas town tomorrow, so urgently need this info . . . Can anyone help please?

I don't know whether opticians offer such a service or not (partly since I usually lose/damage them in such away that repair is impossible), but I'd try one of Levkas several jewellers. I'm sure they'd be better than most opticians at anything more complex than replacing a screw.

Try Mavroudi in the main pedestrian street of Lefkas. The woman in there is always very helpful and speaks good English.

Hurray! Mavroudi was the place to go! All fixed on the spot . . . took 20 mins to repair one pair and left another pair, which should be fixed in a day or two. Got us out of a spot. Thanks to lurob, Carmel and all who offered info and/or offered to help.
