LED Lights

Has anyone seen the missive from the RYA about them wanting comments on the "New LED Lights" on various bouys from the N. Norfolk coast to Dover Straights.

Apprarantly we need to make our comments before Wednesday 12th March?

Somebody in the RYA needs to understand that most of the leisure boaters are laid up until May. Good planning? If you want to run a successful pilot (no pun intended) you need to stack the odds. I did a pilot of a new scheme at work prior to retiring; the new scheme was a complete dog as I and some colleagues thought it would be and the plans were put to bed but everybody talked about the failure of the pilot. I think it was the only successful pilot I ever got involved in cos it showed the scheme was a dog.
