Can't work out where you can leave your dinghy at Cascais when anchored. Any one give me a clue. Can you leave it at the club?

Last time we were there was 2 years ago. We thought about the marina, the club and the old pier. The pier looked pretty dodgy. Friends had used the club pontoon and they were OK with that but you could only get access at certain times when security gate was open.

We eventually settled for the pontoon used by fishermen (as mentioned by GHA) and had several trips without any problem. Unless I'm confusing it with somewhere else, the trick was to go on the end to get off but use long lines to pull the dinghy underneath the access ramp. That kept it out of everyone's way but you did have to pay attention to the tide. You could squash the dinghy or lift it out of the water if not careful. However, we never had any problems due to tide. We used to ask a fisherman but they usually just shrugged and didn't think it was an issue.
