The best Conran restaurant, overlooking the Thames at Butlers Wharf on the south side of Tower Bridge. In nice weather you can dine on the terrace overlooking Tower Bridge. Great modern European food, outstanding wine list and a fully stocked humidor with all your favourite cubans. Reccomend the Loius XIII cognac and the Cohiba robusto. After lunch you can have a pleasant stroll around St Katherines Yacht Haven. Where Blair took Clinton for dinner but don't let that put you off.

Re: Le Pont de la Tour - the bar is better

Both have the same kitchen, but the bar is half price and more of an atmosphere. I do not believe you had very much louis xiii cognac if you hoiked over to st kat's afterwards! Also, Bibendum is a better restaurant but what the heck...

Incidentally, just around that back of this complex is the conran "training" restaurant - well worth a trip - a huge laugh, excellent nosh , cheapish, but you have to go fairly early,. Everyone is training - so they are quite good but not yet oily. They will ask if you wife would like a dessert, for example...er um it is your wife is it?...
