Lasizas Stern Light

Might be worth replying and asking them to confirm if it’s actually a navigation light or just a transom light. If navigation I’d expect them to have it listed with certification on their website.
Seems odd that they acknowledge it’s theirs but don’t list it anywhere

I agree, I've replied asking if they have any documentation that relates to the light. I assume that because it doesn't appear on their website means it's not a current product.

What's a "transom" light?

What's a "transom" light?
It's a light used on the transom of motorboats either for decoration or simply to light the swim platform/steps. I used transom here as that's what the sales blurb used for this light on another site, and because "stern light" can mean many things, only one of which is an accredited navigation light. The documentation on that site also had the angle as 120 degrees as I said in the thread above.

Lalizas have come back to me again with the specs for this light. I cannot see anything in the attached document to suggest that this really is a nav light that is compliant with the regulations. There is no mention of Colregs compliance and the arc of visibility is wrong thus supporting lustyd's view as far as I can see.

If the seller is marketing this light as a stern navigation light, as specified in post No 1, but it doesn't have the required angle of visibility, they are wrong, and need to be told.
