Kids \'n\' TV
When I was kid the TV was only allowed on after dinner when you'd finished your home work. TV at breakfast was unheard of. And it was all in black and white. Radio or the "wireless" was good, remember Dick Barton?
I digress, Wifey's off work being ill so I have to do the kid run thing in the evening. You know run around like a blue arsed fly all over the place picking them up from the Child Minders etc etc. Sat down with the eldest last night to do her homework with her. "We always have the Simpsons on" she said. Who am I to argue being the only bloke in the house. I've no chance against 3 females. Safe to say She got her way and I didn't.
Anyway I digress again. The little'n pipes up after the cartoon thing has finished "Dad, if you were in the Simpsons which one would you be" at which point the other half in a croaky "i'm sick" voice pipes up "Barnry the drunk one".
So who would you be. I rekon Kim would be Mr Burns the head of the power plant!
No I know its got nothing to do with boats, but I'm bored.
