We had to travel to Marmaris before we manage to get a blue card , Datca didn't have any nor did Bozburun , in the end Netsel Marina sold us one for 10 TL , which I understand is the going rate but some days late we went to have a pump out , we have a 50lt tank they manage to pump out 95lt and change us 25 TL we won't be going there again for a pump out , we understand in geock the pump out boat come out and chage you nothing , only time will tell if that's the case .

Hi Vic, we used the free pump out boat several times last year in the Goçek area and friends have used it this year. You need to text the day before, 0539 439 11 62 , giving you boat name, co-ordinates, and approx litres. www.turmepa.org.tr is their website with the phone numbers for three other areas too. Some friends experienced delays to getting pumped out and needed to text more than once, they do not reply, so best not to be too full ! They have the equipment to 'electronically stamp" your Blue card on board. We were advised to have about 1 pump out on the card each month, but no one has ever asked to check our card. Good morning and happy father day if you happen to be a cruising father too .
We manage to get a free pump out in Kas ( thanks for the Info Colin ) it's a DIY job , although not sure if it put any info on my card .
The info we getting from other cruiser all nationalities are as you said get a pump out every three to four weeks , we also so far have not been boarded but yesterday the coast Guard anchor next to us but only to stop and have a smoke . Then throw they ciz buts in the water before leaving . If nothing else it stop two gullets that was Leaving pumping out .
Thanks for the number we back in Goeck next week so we give them a go , if it free no reason why not to use them .
