KAD 300 EDC/ECM FAILURE

hello from US, new to forum.

Have twin KAD 300s in my boat, 50 original hours.
One motor threw 4.5 code. Did a lot of testing, followed back to cause of code to be EDC/ECM. Motor was in limp mode and running rough. Swapped the ECM between motors, problems stayed with the ECM.

Any body have any advice to repair the unit, or does any one have one for sale before I pay Volvo 4,000 usd and wait a month for new ECM.

I suggest you may be able to find an electronics man that services and repairs vehicle units, maybe a discussion with them would be fruitful, just because it's on a boat doesn't mean wizkids cant fix them...just a thought.....

Regular car ECU repairers wont touch them due to the potting compound that they're in.
