I used the older version of this when I used to tow a jet ski about 12 years ago http://towdster.com/ I had what they call now the towdster tri (about 4:40 min into the vid) Worked well
If you get a chance, look out for Athena, just made the trip round from Portishead to her new berth at Torquay. Owner is forumite "Who". Top bloke and we will miss him at Portishead.Update
There is a sailing event in the harbour this weekend.
The harbour master has advised me to turn up early and get launched before they get started.
So we will aim to get to the slipway at around 08:00 tomorrow (Sunday)
It would have been better to have done this test during the week but the weather has been awful.
This is about the last chance before we load the Novurania and plastic dock onto a trailer bound for Spain.
Ferry is booked from Plymouth on the 27th (Easter Sunday).
That should put is in Sant Carles at the end of Monday (28th)
Looking forward to a comfortable crossing on the Pont Aven.
Less than an hour by road from home to Plymouth and then about 6 or 7 hours across Spain.
The ferry takes 23 hours but it is closer to a cruise than a cross channel ferry - nice restaurant and reasonable cabins on board.
The big thing we all noticed was just how dry the boat kept us.
That's a very low flyby indeed!here are some pics

yes exactly,
also for us that was the biggest improvement,
not only complete absense of spray, but also dry feet in all circom's...
collor sheme looks good, I have chosen grey, but I like the Novurania Blue
good luck with the trip, take it easy, no stress
That's a very low flyby indeed!
Glad to see the thing in its environment, eventually. Well done! :encouragement:
Well, I couldn't agree more, as I'm sure you know.Thats NOT its environment!!!
The water temperature is far too cold in that environment!!
Well, I couldn't agree more, as I'm sure you know.
But still better than in a container somewhere mid Atlantic, anyway!
PS: for the records, in my previous deleted post I had posted this very same comment, but from a mobile device, and I only see now that it got deleted somehow.
Am I alone in finding the mobile version of the forum cumbersome to the point of being almost useless? Aaarumph!
