[Concerto]

A couple of days ago I spotted a shoal of 17 grey mullet close to Concerto in Chatham Maritime Marina. Never seen so many in a single shoal. Unfortunately I could not get them all in one photo.

Another one from a former colleague - this might appeal to Australians here as it was taken by Mihira da Silva in Melbourne and from the top it’s Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and a Swire Shipping funnel…

Shows very clearly why you don't get the pilotage wrong entering or leaving Eyemouth! Easy enough in normal conditions, but deadly in a storm. See Eyemouth disaster - Wikipedia for example (the Hurkars are, I think, the rocks on the left of the image).

Probably lightly baked, too. I think Lower Palaeozoic turbidites, but not sure.

5 minutes later and the sun blocked out by the boom.

This weed seems to be prolific this year. Round the prop, anchor chain and rudder. Very strong and stringy .

Does it have a name ?

Certainly looks like it.
Seems to have quite a few benefits . Next time I get it round the prop I'll offer it to Holland & Barrett .
