Just back from a fabulous 4 days in Belgium. It was sunny and hot, ate and drank too much (again) and got lots of cheap booze in Nieuwpoort. We also ventured down a canal to Vuerne, which is a charming place similar to Honfleur. All was going well untill we realised that we were certainly not going to get under that bridge with the radar arch up.
It doesn't hinge so we had to unbolt it while holding station in the middle of the canal...The joys of boating.
So calm on the way back to Ramsgate this morning that I nearly fell asleep at the wheel. That usually only happens on the motorway.
Just one question, 4 days of forecast sunny calm weather, hardly saw another cruiser at all. Not one single British boat anywhere in Belgium we went. What is up with you lot on the East coast? To busy having BBQ's and playing at caravans?
I think I've had too much sun!!!
