Does anyone have any or can tell me where to find information on the Jouet 820 cruiser built by Yachting France? I have already searched on the internet but can find no useful information. I am interested in any information available including sailing performance.

I guess you know this but Yachting Monthly have been running an A-Z of used boats - they are currently at Moody - so the Jouet cannot have been many months ago - perhaps give them a call.

Sorry, the 820 was one I didn't cover and I am not particularly familiar with that model. The Jouet range in general tended to be motor-sailery in concept with big, simple interiors and modest rigs (and performance). Buiod quality was OK rather than brilliant. The tend to look a bit dated and tired.

re enquiry jouet 820. my brother had one for four years and found it to be a good sea boat, irish sea and scottish clyde. very comfortable for himself, wife and 3 children(including teenager!). as for sailing qualities at club racing level he won a few firsts and many seconds.he found it a good all round boat but has moved up to a larger boat.hope this helps you.
