I would have agreed with you 10 years ago, but the price now seems somewhat extreme... Perhaps they're trying to get closer to the baby Blake price?

If you leave a toilet idle for some time flush it with lots of fresh water then it won't smell. If it hasn't been use for a year the pump will be very stiff. Tip some cooking oil in and gently pull the handle up down a few times and it should be fine. There is no reason to buy a new one even if it is blocked. If it is close the throughulls, replace the joker valve, take the outlet pipe off and bash it hard on the ground to get the calcium deposits off. All very easy to do.

All fixed thanks.No idea what i fixed but all cleaned and that veg. oil made a huge difference.Nappies are well handy for the spillage too.
