Out of interest Ben, what do you need doing?

If an outdrive is broken, don't you just fix the bit that's bust?
Is there some benefit to be had from a strip down and re-build?
Ignoring the cosmetic stuff, IVSS won't actually replace many of the main components in a strip down and re-build will they?

A drive was sent there months ago and not come back. Comms proving tricky. Boat owner lost the entire season.

I challenge anyone who reconditions outdrives and makes judgement calls on what components are serviceable and those that need replacing to have a 100% satisfaction / success rate.
