please accept my apologies for bringing a little fun and distraction onto the board last night. at least I tried to keep within the parameters of the site, and chose a game with a boaty theme, albeit very loosely - if i'd have gone with my first thoughts you really would have been unhappy /forums/images/icons/smile.gif. perhaps in hindsight, I should have let the dearth continue.

PS - regarding the Xmas Panto thread, the part of Scrooge is going begging. let me hear you say "bah! humbug"! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Just the mention of the word Panto makes me wanna roll on some fishnet stockings and indulge in a bout of thigh slapping!,.....and the thought of climbing into the rear end of a panto horse sends shivers down...........(cough) I digress somewhat!!!
The fact that I know all the words to "theres no business like show business" qualifies me by default for a part in the forth coming panto.
My qualifications include the leading parts in many a production, Dame Edna Stavro Blowave being my most memorable performance!
It was I "dahling" that put the sin in the original Sinbad, alas I couldn't do anything for Dick Whittington but that's another story.

Nowadays most people think that Panto is for kids, they emasculate the scripts saying the baddies are too frightening, the witches are unchristian the jokes too naughty, in fact it is rumoures that one AmDram group produced Snow White and the Seven persons of diminished stature! now how is that for political correctness.
