Just had a letter from the Windermere authorities inviting me to part with my £42 so I can play on the lake.
Also enclosed was a newsletter with an article defending the new speed limit.
The writer wants to correct the missaprehension that they are banning any activity from the lake, all they are doing is restricting the speed at which you can do it to 10 mph - So that clears that up.
I'm looking forward to watching all the 10mph skiers and boarders in 2005!! - Now all I need to work out is what size trim tabs I need to get my boat planing at that speed.
