Isotherm Fridge Kit - Mystery clip???

I have some friends who are installing an isotherm fridge kit in their boat. It has the oval shaped evaporator. There is a clip/plastic bit that they are unsure of its purpose. Answers on electronic postcard if you know. Picture of said clip attached.

I think it might be solved!!! It holds the inline fuse holder. Wonkywinch came a close second with a bra clasp .
Next conundrum is that the oval evaporator isn't supplied with any mounting pads/spacers. Strange, as I thought they would have had them to stop the screw coming in contact with the actual evaporator plate .
