Brilliant news glad you are both enjoying all your hard work
We'll be down your way at the end of May along with the mackeral /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifWe will be getting her out at Fossdyke as a dirty bum is keeping our speed down to 20 knots /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Always going to be something that needs doing, but at least from now on it should be a case of working when we can't sail rather than only working. Things like tweaking the main so it hangs properly and doesn't look like a pair of baggy drawers, removing the spring on the guard wire which was only supposed to be there for easy access from the pontoon and all the little things that just kept getting put off as non vital.
The priority work is what we've been concentrating on up to now, with non vital stuff being done when we couldn't get on with what was needed to be relatively safe out there.
Never know, if things work out we could very well make it down to the Deben or Crouch area. Stranger things have happened
Great photos, you'll be doing the entrance to Fosdyke and wells for us next. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Deadweight: up to 1380 tonnes
Speed: 38 – 47 knots
Power: 36000 kW
Being run by the French operator LD Lines having conveniently got rid of Speedferries, who went under through the French pressing for settlement of outstanding Boulogne harbour dues, ooops what am I saying...
/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Well done /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
