Is global warming ruining your sailing?

Quite remarkable, really. That thing would appear to burn more diesel in 30 minutes than I do in a year, and much of it would appear to merely generate wash. And the object of the urgent mission - to watch yet more fuel being burned pointlessly! I feel that 100 years hence our descendents, with oil a costly, exotic substance, will look at pictures like these and shake their heads in disbelief - a bit like we do looking at film of WW1.

What I think's important to highlight is that whether you believe in global warming or not, the actions you are being invited to do are good for you and society in general, irrespective on any climate benefit.

E.g. saving energy, recycling, not burning fuels etc - even if they don't cause global warming, we'd actually save money if we did our bit.

So, for me, the debate isn't about whether or not climate change is happening, but what can we do to save money and improve the environment around us. If that helps the climate (which I believe it does), then double-bonus.
