Looking at the option of basing the boat on the E coast of the US for a couple of years.
Our insurer, GJW, doesn't offer cover there, neither does Edward Williams.
Any other suggestions?

As a left field suggestion, you could perhaps try a Caribbean insurer and see if they would cover you for the Eastern Seaboard?
I don't know if they would, but it could be worthwhile asking?
A typical example would be CG United who are local to us in Barbados - no connection, but I do surveys for them occasionally.

Edit - if you need to get US Visas, you can get them here, but you have to book an appointment online first.
The name 'Technical Difficulties' is a bit misleading - it is actually about Visas.
