Norfolk Marine have now sent me an e mail cancelling my order because I refused to accept additional delivery charges. I didn’t actually refuse and they never told me on the phone how much it would be. I merely pointed out that the front page of the website says free and it brought up delivery charge £0 when I entered the address and postcode. I replied to them but I think I may well be starting another thread looking for advice about how to pursue a consumer complaint in the U.K.
Just looked at their website and the only get out clause I can see for them is if they class it as "other heavy or bulky items", although I wouldn't myself.
