Congratulations Paul, you made a great choice. I bought the Antares 30 from the show and you will love it.
Reference berthing I've just moved from OV to SQ and have to
say so far has been a great move. Cheaper, more sociable, better service.
The pub is a little quiet and could do with a refurb but the food is superb, haven't tried the restaurant yet. It's 8 mins further up the river from OV so you can still beat someonr from swanwick to the IOW! It's £4.40 taxi to town and I guess the only time you'll have a problem is during football traffic but that's not very often.
Im sure you'll make the right choice, you did on the boat!!
